Government procedures can be more complicated than anything elsemost people will handle in their entire lifetimes. With all their red tape, forms to file out, people to call and steps to take, it can take hours, days, weeks and even months to get anything done. Oh, the bureaucracy!
Still, these things need to be carried out. Government software can make them happen with the most efficiency and ease possible. It can take on huge tasks for any level of government: municipal, local, federal or state.
Let’s say the software is being used in the adoption bureau of a particular government. It can keep files on all the potential parents, as they submit the required forms. It can also keep up-to-date records on children coming in to be adopted, and their biological parents. This type of software’s biggest task might be to house all the documents pertaining to every single adoption carried out over a certain period of time. This is certainly a very large task. But how was it done before? When they say “open the vault”, it’s a literal--and not figurative--phrase.
